Career and Technical Education programs enable students to gain entry-level employment in a high-skill, high-wage job and/or to continue their education. Many of the programs offered at Temple High School provide students with the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications and licensures that prepare them to begin working at entry-level and above positions. Many students use the skills learned in CTE programs to attain positions that will allow them to finance their postsecondary education. Career and Technical Education programs prepare students for life.

CTE Mission:

To provide students enrolled in Career & Technical education programs with education and training of sufficient excellence to enable them upon graduation to enter the job market with well-developed skills varied intellectual interests and sufficient understanding and curiosity to continue their growth and maturation as family members, workers and citizens in the community.
